But millions do, and we are riding to change that.

About the Ride

Mark Strauss is cycling coast to coast to raise awareness and support for kids in need. He will be biking over 3,000 miles from the Pacific to the Atlantic to raise $1,000,000 for No Kid Hungry. Nearly 14 million kids in America go to bed hungry every night—something no child should ever face. Together, we can turn miles into meals and make sure every child has the food they need to grow and thrive.

Why This Ride Matters

1 in 5 kids in America lives with hunger.

That’s 14 million children who may not know where their next meal will come from.

$1 helps provide 10 meals for kids.*

Even the smallest donation goes a long way in fighting childhood hunger.

Kids who eat breakfast do better
in school.

Access to nutritious food improves focus, attendance, and academic performance.

Hunger isn’t just an urban issue.

Families in every state, from rural communities to cities, face the same daily struggle, HUNGER.

The ripple effect is real. Hunger today leads to higher healthcare costs, lost productivity, and fewer opportunities for tomorrow. Childhood hunger is a national loss. When kids fall behind, we all do — in innovation, health, and prosperity.

"Seeing the endemic issues of hunger and poor nutrition has been eye opening. I firmly believe that every kid deserves a chance at a good life and that is directly tied to how they eat."
